He skipped the words “by their Creator” in the sentence;
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Monday was the third time in a little over a month that President Obama wrote the Creator out of one of our most important founding documents.
The significance of removing the reference to our Creator out of one of our nations’ most powerful ideas, is clearly part of a propaganda campaign by the far-left’s progressive movement to replace religion with government.
Writing faith in God out of the public sphere allows and encourages big government to replace it. In fact, it’s absolutely necessary for Americans to truly embrace Obama’s agenda.
Yet it is impossible for the need for dependence on government to compete with the provision and comfort that God provides. Unless Obama can convince the public otherwise.
He cannot have the public living on faith, dependent on God to meet our needs and at the same time support for his agenda for big government. Even though living by faith is what our Christian faith commands us to do.
Obama is essentially running a campaign against God.
