Homeland Security Declares Half the Nation Potential Terrorists

On Thursday the Department of Homeland Security, under the Obama administration, released a document detailing a growing national security threat – we the people.

To my amazement, the government has basically declared that anyone that disagrees with the current laws or policies is a potential terrorist and a threat to our national security.

The document says,"The economic downturn and the election of the first African-American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalisation and recruitment."

The document goes on to say, rightwing extremists are using the election of Obama to recruit new members, mobilize existing supporters, and broaden their scope and appeal through propaganda.

In particular, the document talks about Obama’s stance on issues ranging from social programs, immigration, firearm limits and many other ideas that most republicans disagree with.  But remember Obama only got 50% of the votes in the election, because half the nation disagrees with his policies.  This is not a new phenomenon, 50% of the nation didn’t agree with Bush either.

The epic battle between government and the people is brewing as thousands of people protested yesterday at the Tea Rallies across the nation, protesting high taxes and bad economic conditions derived from failed government policies.  Many are beginning to realize that the government they believed to be making decisions in their best interest is actually the source of the economic troubles we face.

It is documents like this that lead our nation down a rat whole which will accelerate the decline of morality and culture civility, and eventually chaos.  The government has become so large and so influential that it has begun the process of dictating morality.  The difference between right and wrong can no longer be found in the Bible or anywhere else.

Only the government can determine the difference between stealing and taxing, killing and aborting, working for a living and getting a job, teaching and indoctrinating, journalism and media propaganda, private property and repossesion of property through inflation, religious beliefs and hate crimes, freedom and slavery.

The government is moving into a position of complete control of our entire society, determining everything from birth, education, health care, job and wages, morality and retirement.  From birth to the grave, big government is involved in every step.

The very thing that our nation was founded to protect the people against is now larger than ever.  The freedom provisions given by the constitution have largely been nullified by the millions of laws and policies created to get around them, which has led us to the position that we are in today, where many of the things that the government is now doing are unconstitutional.

Most Costly Decisions In History

Perhaps the most costly decision in the history of our great nation was the decision to remove the bible from the schools in 1963. The beginning of the decline of America can be traced back to this decision.

You see, this decision began a chain of events that led to an ever expanding government to fill the gap of protecting the people from themselves and providing all our needs, until some day in the near future when the economy collapses under the weight and burden of the bloatted government.

Individual morality is the best means of government.  Because individual morality means that each person governs themselves in a manner that is pleasing to God under their own self control to live a righteous life.  Without the knowledge of God as creator and father, there is no concept of right and wrong and no reason to live a righteous life.  Therefore, there is no reason to control our sinful nature and love one another as God has commanded us to do.

James Madison, the father of our constitution wrote,

“We have staked the whole future of America civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it.  We have staked the future of all of our political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.”

This is why I said before the 2008 election, Morality Proceeds Economy So Vote For Morality.

Prosperity and wealth are directly related to morality.  As morality declines, so does wealth and prosperity because government must grow to take its place.  As government grows, it taxes more of the wealth of the people and creates regulations and restraints which further reduce the production of goods.

Samuel Adams, another founding father of our nation said,

“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Wealth Is Produced with Low Overhead

America became the richest nation is the world because of its high productivity, which was because of its high morality, giving it the advantage of operating with a low overhead of a small government. This is also why many of the European nations that are mostly atheistic have already been down this path and have already created large burdening governments.

The same principle is true in business. The key to business is good people. But what that really means is people that are self governing, because they give the business the competitive advantage of operating with low overhead or a smaller management team, so that they can produce at lower costs then their competitors.

The only way to compete in the global economy is with lower overhead or a smaller government. The direction that Obama is taking the economy by expansion of government will further reduce our ability to compete and therefore we will continue to struggle to increase our exports and produce any real wealth.

Absolute Honesty

Absolute Honesty gives you a template for creating and sustaining a business environment of open communication and healthy debate. It explains why honesty in business is the foundation of America and the reason behind our success. Honesty pays, by creating better trusted customers, employees, and shareholders. The productivity gains are perhaps the biggest advantage to fostering honesty within a company.

The Hyperinflation Survival Guide: Strategies for American Businesses

The Hyperinflation Survival Guide offers strategies for business managers to keep their enterprise afloat in the midst of runaway inflation. Within this succinct little book are a plethora of sensible business strategies for American businesses. If businesses are to survive they must effectively counter and minimize the ill effects of rampant inflation and/or hyperinflation. The utmost prudence is required in managing accounts receivable, inventory, and production at such a time. A sudden inflationary economic downturn may very well bring a business to its knees leading to insolvency.

Day of Reckoning

In Day of Reckoning, Pat Buchanan reveals the true existential crisis of the nation and shows how President Bush's post-9/11 conversion to an ideology of 'democratism' led us to the precipice of strategic disaster abroad and savage division at home. Ideology, writes Buchanan, is a false god that seeks vainly to create a paradise on earth. While free enterprise is good, the worship of a 'free trade' that is destroying the dollar, de-industrializing America, and ending our economic independence, is cult madness.

Business for the Glory of God

When students ask, “How can I serve God with my life?” they don’t often hear the answer, “Go into business”. But that is exactly what this book is claiming. Grudem says, “human desires to increase the production of goods and services are not in themselves greedy or materialistic or evil. Rather, such desires to be productive represent God-given desires to dominion over the earth as He created us to do.” Grudem also explains that significant temptations accompany all productions of goods and services, which we need to resist. This is not a ‘Health and Wealth’ gospel, but a biblical look at the goodness of business.
